The short version
Everything you type into the calculator — income, household details — is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to our servers, stored, or shared. We have no accounts, no forms, and no database of user information.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information directly. Like most websites, we use third-party services that may collect data automatically:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is anonymized and does not identify you personally.
- Advertising. We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
Cookies
We use a single localStorage entry to remember your light/dark theme preference. Third-party cookies may be set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator works fully without them.
Your rights
Depending on your location (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data.
